Class 3B laser safety eyewear is mandatory at all times. Log all laser runtime hours in physical ledger upon checkout.
Borrowers must inspect the equipment with the lab custodian upon pickup and submit a return condition report at check-in. Any unrecorded physical damage or late return will be reviewed as an incident.
Prerequisites & Access Requirements
Level 2 Laser Safety Certification and Cleanroom Protocol Induction.
Must be supervised by designated optical technician or faculty mentor.
Enrolled engineering, physics, and bio-nanotech students with approved faculty supervisor endorsement.
